Our story is simple. We met at work. I, Thais, joined the same team that Tyler was on. Two months later, the pandemic started, but somehow through all the isolation, our friendship blossomed.

Late in 2020, we started going into the office once a week. Tyler would make fun of me for asking if I really needed to wear my mask with only two of us in office. I even convinced Tyler to get a Peloton, which is now co-owned by me ;)

In 2021 we continued going into the office once a week. Without anything else to do or anyone else to see, we would spend endless hours in the office talking about everything and nothing. It all felt natural and easy. Soon enough we both had feelings for each other.

One day Tyler texted me and asked if I wanted to go on a date. Of course I said yes! It was the easiest and best first date I have ever had. We laughed, shared dessert, and connected over our love of music.

It sounds crazy but I knew Tyler was the one after a month of dating. I think our families also knew it would last forever. The love and support they have given us since day one has been paramount. We are ecstatic to get married and enter this new chapter of our lives together. Cheers to forever!
